An extremely odd little gem of a book!
Only just over 100 pages and easily read in one sitting, it relates the story of Her Majesty strolling through the grounds one day with the dogs and inadvertently discovering the mobile library bus.
Having never been a reader before, she soon gets totally engrossed in a cross section of literature and displeases the Prime Minister by "losing touch with her people".
She decides to move onto writing a book of her own, leading to a wonderful twist at the end of the book.
Not suited to all tastes but anyone who enjoyed Alan Bennett''s wonderful monologues "Talking Heads" will surely be entertained.
