True Joy Of Giving

True joy of giving is giving without expecting to get anything back. I love giving gifts and making people happy. There is nothing greater than surprising someone with a gift ore flowers when they least expect it. You can see joy in their eyes .I know a lot of people who love giving things away but also expect to get an equal amount back ore more. That is not me. I also think that gift giving can be for other occasions than birthdays anniversaries and Christmas. If someone is sad ore if they have had a rough time, then you can surprise them by giving them appreciation. That can so many times save someone’s day. We live in such a hectic society and we don’t stop to think how other people might live. When we take the bus for example, how often do we greet the bus driver? He ore her sees people come and go the entire day and not many take the time to say, hello ore how are you? Ore the police officer that pulls you over because you went over the speed limit (which you shouldn’t do),now you know that you made a mistake but do you ever say to that police officer, thank you ,you are doing a great job? Many of these professions today are extremely dangerous and for them it could mean the world if they once in awhile got a thank you, have a nice day ore something nice.
The true joy in giving is to give without expecting to get anything back. That applies to that to. You might meet people and follow what I am saying, you say hello to a stranger because you want to cheer them up. Ore you say how are you? Ore you say, what a good job you are doing. Many times you might not get an answer ore not the answer you want.
But do you know what? That does not matter .What matters is that you did try. Don’t feel bad about the person because they did not answer you, just try with someone else. The true joy of giving is to give without expecting to get anything back. Just when you least expect it, someone will come along that you don’t know and that person might just do this to you. That person might ask you, Hello, How are you? If they do then you now know what to answer.
